Gravel Track New Releases

The Barossa Valley Wine company is excited to announce the release of two new varietals into our Gravel Track range:

Gravel Track Tempranillo

Gravel Track Montepulciano

Sourced from premium vineyards in the Barossa, these two new varietals are regional release parcels, available in small volumes at LiquorLand and First Choice Liquor stores.

Both wines are fermented at cooler temperatures for ten days, followed by secondary fermentation and maturation in a combination of French & America oak for 14 months to add greater complexity and depth to the wine.

The wines join our Gravel Track range, expanding to now offer 5 ranges, alongside Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre (GSM). Our Gravel Track range pays tribute to the long gravel and limestone track that winds its way through our historic 60-year-old Farms vineyard in the Barossa.

Gravel Track Montepulciano Tasting Notes:

 Lifted aromas of blueberries and plum complemented by hints of delicate oak spice and a hint of aniseed. A medium-bodied, elegant wine, the palate is vibrant and fruity, with the soft tannin's providing a silky yet persistent finish.

Gravel Track Tempranillo Tasting Notes:

Lifted aromas of blackberries and dark cherries complemented by a hint of delicate oak. A savoury, full-bodied wine, the palate has dark fruit flavours with chocolate, vanilla and notes of spice with the soft tannin’s providing a silky yet persistent finish.
